No. The editor and the export both run in your browser, so anyone can open a template, build a set and download it. Plans are about keeping the work, automating the slow parts and sharing it with a team.
Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, then the account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted: projects above the Free limit become read-only until you remove some or subscribe again, and every file you have already exported stays yours.
Either way, any time. Moving to yearly credits the unused part of the current month against the first year; moving back to monthly takes effect when the year ends.

One set of screens saved to your account — the whole listing, not each frame. Drafts that only autosave in your browser do not count against the limit, so you can keep working on the Free plan without filling it up.
Credits are how the premium features are metered instead of locked. Every plan with an allowance gets it back in full on the same date each month, and you spend it on whichever features you actually use — the section above shows what each one costs against a month's worth. Paid plans include most of them outright, so the allowance is there for the ones that are still counted.
The metered features stop until the allowance resets, and everything else keeps working exactly as it did — the editor, every template, and export are never behind credits. The app tells you the cost and your balance before it spends anything, so you are never surprised after the fact.
No. Credits are taken before the work starts so two clicks cannot spend the same balance twice, and they are put straight back if the run does not finish. Your history shows the charge and the refund as separate lines.
On most plans the allowance is a monthly budget rather than a balance you accumulate, so it resets rather than adds up. Where a plan does carry credit over, its card says so.
